The StrideGuard project is an innovative initiative combining mixed reality (MR) technologies, motion sensors and smart insoles for the prevention and management of knee osteoarthritis (OA). The system provides users with dynamic real-time feedback through visual and auditory stimuli, helping them to adjust their gait and reduce mechanical loads on the joints. At the same time, healthcare professionals gain access to analysis and personalised prediction tools, facilitating clinical decision-making and improving patient rehabilitation. StrideGuard offers significant benefits for patients, healthcare professionals and the healthcare system in general. For patients, it represents a powerful prevention tool that slows down the progression of OA and enhances mobility, whilst for healthcare professionals it acts as a tool that facilitates the monitoring and adjustment of therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, the system supports remote care, reducing treatment costs and promoting the efficiency of healthcare services. The project's communication strategy includes the dissemination of results through participation in conferences, scientific publications and events to raise awareness among the public and healthcare professionals. At the same time, educational seminars are organised on the correct use of the system, enhancing its acceptance by the medical and scientific community.
