As part of Regional Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3) of Thessaly, The Thessaly Region is promoting a series of open meetings titled «RIS3 Innovation Cafés», aiming to strengthen communication and cooperation with local communities.
The next stop is Almyros, on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 18:00, at Café Colibri, Where businesses, professionals, producers, representatives of organizations and active citizens are invited to participate in an open and creative discussion about the future of the region.
The initiative is part of the activities of RIS3 Thessaly, which aims to connect the needs of the local economy with research, entrepreneurship and innovation, creating opportunities for collaborations and new development initiatives.
What does Almouros need today to develop? What challenges do local businesses and producers face? What ideas and collaborations can provide solutions?;
These are some of the questions that will be at the center of the meeting.
Unlike a typical informational event, the RIS3 Innovation Café gives the floor to the participants themselves. Through brief presentations, exchange of views, and participatory discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to highlight issues that concern them, submit proposals, and explore collaboration opportunities.
In parallel, actions and tools of RIS3 Thessaly will be presented that can be utilized by businesses, professionals and organizations in the region.
The meeting is open to all those interested in development, entrepreneurship and the future of Almyro.
